Cage Warriors 130 Results

After a successful first venture into America, one of Europe’s top MMA promotions, Cage Warriors, makes another jump across the pond tonight with Cage Warriors 130. The eight-fight card will be going down live from Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego, California.

The main event takes place at a catchweight of 165 pounds, as UFC veteran Spike Carlyle steps in on short notice to take on Bellator veteran JJ Ambrose. Originally set to face Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Kyle Driscoll, 42-fight veteran “Superman” Ambrose is on a five-fight win streak since losing his last Bellator outing to Saad Awad. After a 1-2 stint in the UFC, “Alpha Ginger” Carlyle has rebounded with two first-round submission wins.

Two lightweight prospects face off in the Cage Warriors 130 co-main event, as Jordan Bailey will fight Max Rohskopf. After one fight with Bellator in November 2014, Bailey has lost three of his last four fights, but his last fight was in August 2018. After a long layoff, he will face “Rated R” Rohskopf, who rebounded from a loss in his lone UFC appearance with a stoppage win at Cage Warriors’ previous American appearance, Cage Warriors 126.

Fellow Cage Warriors 126 competitor Zac Pauga also returns to face former UFC middleweight Markus Perez at light heavyweight. This fight will be the first for “Maluko” Perez since being cut by the UFC on the heels of three straight losses. He also missed weight by four and a half pounds a weight class above the one in which he normally competes. He will face heavy-handed Elevation Fight Team product Pauga, who has won four fights in a row to start his professional career.

Stay tuned to MMA Sucka for up-to-date Cage Warriors 130 results, with the preliminary card happening at 9:45pm ET/6:45pm PT, followed by the main card at 11pm ET/8pm PT. All of the action will air live on UFC Fight Pass.
