On Monday, October 25, BTC Fight Promotions announced the signing of veteran Sarah Kaufman. As per the press release, Kaufman will take on Jessy Miele at the November 20 event.

Kaufman (21-5) has not fought in Canada since 2011. The veteran has fought for a number of major promotions including, UFC, Strikeforce, PFL and more. The Victoria, BC native is 4-1 in her last five fights.
When asked about signing with the promotion, Kaufman said, “There are so many incredible factors that made my decision to fight for BTC an easy one: 1) I get to fight on home soil (Canada) 2) BTC is a female owned promotion, which gives extra emphasis and understanding to the value of female fighters, and 3) Jessy Miele is a game opponent who is going to push me to compete at my best. I can’t wait to share my BTC fight on Nov 20 with fans watching the live stream around the world.”
Miele a product of Prospect, Connecticut brings her 14 fights of experience to Canada for the first time in her career. The Bellator veteran is preparing for her toughest test of her career in Kaufman. “This fight with Sarah Kaufman has been a long time coming,” Miele stated in the press release. “I’ve wanted to scrap with her for years now and it just never worked out for one reason or another. I’m also genuinely excited to be able to compete in Canada once again and in a female owned organization at that! This is gonna be a fight you don’t want to miss!
As far as the fight itself goes – something inside me just clicked recently. I’m completely dialed in. I’m hungry. I’m very, very hungry.”
BTC 13: POWER – which takes place Saturday November 20th at the Meridian Centre in St. Catherines will feature 12 professional mixed martial arts bouts including the quarter finals of the $10,000 bantamweight tournament.
