LFA 121 Results

LFA 121 is set to take place at the Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas. The main card will begin at 9:00 pm ET/6:00 pm PT, and will be headlined by welterweight contenders Chris Brown and Steve Jones. The co-main event is set to be a featherweight bout between Elijah Johns and Brandon Phillips. LFA 121’s main card will be broadcast tonight on UFC Fight Pass, preceded by a preliminary bout on LFA’s Facebook page, and will be showcasing some of the world’s most promising prospects.

Main Event: Chris Brown vs. Steve Jones

Chris Brown is stepping in on short notice, replacing Thomas Powell at LFA 121 when he takes on 8-2 Steve Jones. Jones has only been finished in one of his losses when he was knocked out by Nico Echeverry in 2019, while 50% of his wins come by way of knockout. His opponent Chris Brown comes into this fight with a professional record of 7-3.  Brown’s three losses come to UFC veterans Thomas Gifford and Ignacio Bahamondes, as well as Bellator vet Carrington Banks. He was not finished in any of those losses and has finished four of his seven wins.

Co-Main Event: Elijah Johns vs. Brandon Phillips

Elijah Johns comes into this fight with a 7-2 professional record and a 5-2 record in the LFA cage, losing his last fight against now-UFC featherweight Bruno Souza at LFA 102. His opponent Brandon Phillips is 8-4 only fighting once for LFA in a decision loss to Aaron McKenzie. Earlier in his career, Phillips fought for big promotions like World Series of Fighting and Bellator. Elijah Johns will come into this fight with a significant size advantage.
