Combate Global 42 Results

Combate Global returns once again tonight from their studios in Miami, Florida with a top-five lightweight matchup topping the bill.

After announcing their new rankings system last week, this week will see those rankings in action for the first time, as fifth-ranked Titan FC vet Angel Alvarez faces number-one contender Enrique Gonzalez. Cuba’s  “The Salsa King” Alvarez has been nothing short of dominant in each of his five wins to start his career, with his first three coming with Titan FC followed by two more in Combate Global. “Baby Bull” Gonzalez, who fought once for LFA as well, has won his last four fights, all of which took place last year.

Two intriguing women’s bouts will also be featured on the card. In the co-main event, Mexico’s Alitzel Mariscal will collide with Bellator veteran Shannon Goughary. Mariscal has not fought in over a year, and has lost her last two after starting her career off with two wins. While Tennessee’s Goughary will be more experienced and has competed three times since Mariscal’s last fight, she holds a 5-7 record and has lost five of her last seven. CFFC and Invicta FC vet Katie Perez will headline the preliminary card when she takes on Chrisoula Koukouvetakis. “Maquina Asesina” Perez of North Carolina has officially only lost her most recent fight, but also lost an exhibition bout in the opening round of Invicta’s atomweight Phoenix Series tournament in the bout prior to that. The Greek-born Koukouvetakis now lives in Utah, and has won three in a row since dropping her professional debut in the LFA.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with Combate Global 41 results, happening live on Paramount+ and Univision beginning with the preliminary card at 11pm ET/8pm PT, immediately followed by the main card.
