Dennis Hallman vs. Thiago Tavares shifted to UFC on FX 5

Another bout has been moved from the recently cancelled UFC 151 card to the UFC on FX 5 card. The most recent fight to be moved is Dennis Hallman vs. Thiago Tavares.

A bout that was originally expected to be at UFC 150 and then bounced to UFC 151, has now found its new home at UFC on FX 5.

Hallman (51-14-2) is on a two fight win streak, with wins over John Makdessi and Brian Ebersole. Tavares (17-4-1) is also on a back-to-back win streak, with victories over Spencer Fisher at UFC 134 and Sam Stout at UFC 142.

UFC on FX 5 is set to go down October 5 at the Target Center in Minneapolis and will air live on FX and FUEL TV. The main event is expected to be a heavyweight collision between Travis Browne and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
