Patrick Cote vs. Alessio Sakara booked for UFC 154

A match between Patrick Cote and Alessio has been booked in the middleweight division at UFC 154.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Friday.

Cote (17-8) made his return to the octagon at UFC 148, where he lost a decision to Cung Le. Cote has not won a fight inside the octagon since 2008, however he is 13-0 outside the organization.

Sakara (15-9) has lost his last two fights inside the cage. He lost to Brian Stann and Chris Weidman. He will look to regain steam with a win over Cote at UFC 154.

UFC 154 is set to go down on November 17 at the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada. The main event is un-officially a welterweight title unification bout between Georges St-Pierre and interim champ Carlos Condit.
