Poll Results – Should Jon Jones have fought Chael Sonnen?

After an overwhelming amount of votes, it came in clear that many people believed that Jon Jones should in fact have fought Chael Sonnen at UFC 151.

According to UFC President Dana White, Jon Jones and his team (Greg Jackson) were to blame for the cancellation of UFC 151. Dan Henderson pulled out of his main event bout with Jones due to a knee injury and was unable to fight. White stated during a media conference call that the only man to step up was former middleweight contender Chael Sonnen. Unfortunately, Jones and his camp chose not to fight Sonnen on 8-days notice and in turn the event was cancelled all-together.

77% of MMASucka.com’s fans voted that Jones should have taken the fight with Sonnen and in turn saved the UFC 151 event.

Thank you to all who voted.
