Chorfah Tor.Sangtiennoi Plans To Make Noise At ONE Friday Fights 3

Chorfah Tor.Sangtiennoi returns for a main event meeting against Petsukumvit Boi Bangna at ONE Friday Fights 3. The flyweight Muay Thai collision headlines the event on Friday, February 3. And for Chorfah, it is important to get back in the win column and shine on the global stage.

The Thai striker made his ONE Championship debut against Tagir Khalilov but was quickly ousted in the first round. However, the 29-year-old is not letting the loss dampen his spirits ahead of his return to Lumpinee Stadium. The Thai athlete is taking it all in and learning from his defeat.

“In my fight with Tagir, I think I was a bit flustered because it was my first fight in ONE Championship. Plus, I was too focused on a great performance. That is why I failed easily. I tried to kick Tagir early in the game. But when I got close to him, I was punched. When I rewatch my fight video, I agree that I got up [from the knockdown] too early. Another reason was I still didn’t fully understand the rules. After this match, I had so much regret that I can’t explain it,” Chorfah told ONE.

Ahead of his matchup with his fellow countryman, Chorfah was clear that he needed to improve to be thought of as a contender in the division. With Rodtang Jitmuangnon holding the gold and contenders such as Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Panpayak Jitmuangnon chasing him, he needs to impress to break through to the next level. And that is his plan against Petsukumvit.

Before walking down to the ring inside Lumpinee Stadium, Chorfah has been studying the film on his opponent. He was able to ascertain his strengths and weaknesses to prepare his game plan. That has made Chorfah confident about his preparation ahead of the main event battle.

“Petsukumvit’s style is to walk forward and keep throwing heavy punches and kicks. After I watched his fight videos, I discovered that his strengths are his fists, aggression, and endurance. But I believe that I can surpass him in the trading game,” said the 29-year-old.

Preparing for an aggressive opponent has the Sangtiennoi Gym athlete excited. Wanting to make noise in ONE, he believes a standout performance will make his name known around the world. Chorfah is ready to give fans a fight they will not soon forget so that he can jump into the mix in a hot and heavy division.

“I’ve prepared my fists, elbows, and other weapons for him in this fight. He can’t get through me easily. This time, I’m going to get noticed in ONE Championship,” said Chorfah.

ONE Friday Fights 3 airs live on Friday, February 3, at 7:30 a.m. EST/4:30 a.m. PST on watch.onefc.com, ONE’s YouTube channel, and ONE’s Facebook page.
