Sotiropoulos vs. Pearson and ‘The Smashes’ Finals added to UFC on FX 6

A lightweight battle between the coaches of The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. U.K (TUF: The Smashes), George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson has been added to UFC on FX 6.

TUF: The Smashes is set to debut Sept. 19 on FX in Australia, and the show is available on tuf.tv for everyone else.

Sotiropoulos (14-4) is on a 2 fight losing streak and has not fought since his loss to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 138 in July 2011. The former Season 8 Ultimate Fighter will look to regain steam with the coaching stint on TUF: The Smashes.

Pearson (13-6) has gone 2-3 in his last 5 fights. He won the 9th season of The Ultimate Fighter and following that he went on a 2 fight win streak. His last fight he lost to Cub Swanson at UFC on FX 4.

Also added to the UFC on FX 6 card is the finals of the Team Australia vs. Team U.K. season of TUF.

UFC president Dana White on Friday announced the UFC on FX 6 would take place on Dec. 14 at an unannounced arena.
