The Ultimate Fighter returns to the tubes in literally hours from now with a season coached by a pair of heavyweights with Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin. If you’ve watched this series for longer than a cup of coffee you’ve seen all the paper mache doors torn from their hinges and bodily fluids placed in or on just about anything you can think of.

This may come as a surprise to you, but actually the purpose of the series is to find high-level fighters and not to prove your worth as a serious prankster. Here I put my mathematician hat on, pulled out my calculator and crunched the numbers for each season, let’s take a look at what I uncovered shall we?
