Mir out of Strikeforce bout against Cormier (Updated)

Just when it seemed as if Zuffa’s main event injury luck couldn’t get any worse, the streak continues. Multiple sources are reporting a rumor that Frank Mir, scheduled to take on Daniel Cormier November 3 in Strikeforce, will no longer be able to fight due to injury.

No word as of yet on what the injury is or how long Mir will be out of action.

MMAJunkie is reporting that a knee injury could be the reason for the withdrawal.
