AFC signs former UFC fighter Kendall Grove

Aggression Fighting Championship has signed another high profile fighter to their ever expanding roster. Last week they announced the signing of one of Canada’s favorite fighters, John Alessio. Today the organization announced the signing of former UFC fighter, Kendall Grove.

Grove (15-10-1NC) is most famous for winning the third season of The Ultimate Fighter. Since his stint on the show, he fought 13 times inside the octagon and had a 7-6 record. He was released from the UFC following a two fight losing streak to Demian Maia and Tim Boetsch.

“Da Spyder” went on to fight for a number of other promotions including ProElite, Superior Cage Combat, ShoFight and Just Scrap Maui. He is currently on a 2 fight winning streak and will look to keep that alive inside the AFC cage.

He has been signed to a multi-fight Canadian exclusive contract.

Grove will make his AFC debut on November 3 and will be featured in the co-main event. An opponent has yet to be named, but keep it locked for details.

The main event of AFC 13 event will be headlines by John Alessio vs. Dave Mazany. It is expected to take place in Victoria, BC at the Bear Mountain Arena.
