Dana White suggests that Rousey vs. Cyborg could be a possibility

While women’s mixed martial arts has grown in leaps and bounds since ESPN cover girl Ronda Rousey took the title of the queen of the divisions, there are still only a handful of fights that can do big business with the former Judo Olympian.

One of them clearly is Rousey meeting former 145-pound queen Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos who is nearing the end of her suspension for a banned substance following her domination of Japanese star Hiroko Yamanaka.

During the UFC on FX 5 post-fight media scrum UF’C President Dana White spoke how close they are to putting that fight together.

“I think we are,” White said. “You’ve been seeing me hang around Ronda a lot, right? I’ve been working on it.”

With a giant cloud of questions surrounding the state of Showtime and their relationship with Strikeforce, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that it could even be inside the UFC Octagon.
