UFC on FX 5 fighter salaries

The Minnesota Office of Combative Sports released the fighter salaries for the fighters that took part in UFC on FX 5.

UFC on FX 5 went down on October 5 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The main event was a heavyweight tilt between Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and Travis Browne. Silva put an end to Browne’s unbeaten streak, as he TKO’d him in the very first round.

Jake Ellenberger was the big money winner on the evening, as he took home a cool $84,000 for his victory over Jay Hieron. Coming in behind Ellenberger was Silva who took home $70,000 for his main event win.

Mike Pierce: $44,000 (includes $22,000 win bonus)
def. Aaron Simpson: $25,000

Marcus LeVesseur: $12,000 (includes $6,000 win bonus)
def. Carlo Prater: $10,000

Jacob Volkmann: $40,000 (includes $20,000 win bonus)
def. Shane Roller: $25,000

Diego Nunes: $32,000 (includes $16,000 win bonus)
def. Bart Palaszewski: $12,000

Darren Uyenoyama: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
def. Phil Harris: $8,000

These numbers are the salaries that the organization has to give to the State Commissions. They do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and other fees. They also do not include “fight night” bonuses, sponsor pay or any other bonuses that the UFC often give their fighters.
