3 Bouts To Watch At ONE Friday Fights 68

ONE Championship is bringing a loaded lineup to global pay-per-view with ONE Friday Fights 68. 12 bouts in total will go down from Bangkok, Thailand. A strawweight kickboxing title tilt headlines the night, but there is plenty more action to be mindful of on Friday, June 28.

Another fun night in Bangkok awaits. Which matches will earn your attention from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium? Here is a look at three matches you cannot miss at ONE Friday Fights 68.

Prajanchai vs. Di Bella

The ONE Friday Fights 68 main event is everything fans want out of elite martial arts. Jonathan Di Bella is the man who never lost his title in the ring. Prajanchai PK Saenchai comes in looking for two-sport gold.

Di Bella fell ill during the ONE Friday Fights 58 event week and couldn’t make the weight and hydration. Thus, he was stripped of the gold. Unquestionably, the Italian-Canadian is chomping at the bit to have the gold back over his shoulder.

However, Prajanchai is the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion competing in front of his home Thai audience at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The motivation, the venue, and the crowd all add a little more fun to this main event party. And when the final bell rings, the strawweight division will know who its kickboxing king will be.

Superlek vs. Kongthoranee

Superlek Kiatmoo9 is on top of the world. He also has a date on September 6 for his U.S. debut at ONE 168: Denver against Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title. But that doesn’t mean he is letting the flyweight division pass him by.

While Superlek will try to defend his #1 ranking in the division, Kongthoranee Sor Sommai is getting the opportunity to usurp his position. The rising Thai star has been incredible on the ONE Friday Fights series, and now he can burst out on the global stage against one of the top names in the sport.

While Superlek takes every opponent seriously, Kongthoranee has nothing to lose in Bangkok. It is a golden ticket waiting to be punched. Can Superlek hold serve, or will his other ventures cause him to be upset by a new rising star?

Shadow vs. Jimmy Vienot

There are a lot of sleeper bouts on this card, but none more intriguing than Shadow Singha Mawynn vs. Jimmy Vienot. The featherweight Muay Thai collision has all the makings for the winner, grabbing a bonus and potentially Knockout of the Night.

Featherweights can sling heavy leather, and both of these men have proven it time and again. Vienot is a former title challenger who got back in the win column in 2022. After more than a year away, he’s ready to continue his chase up the ladder.

Shadow picked up a key win against Erik Hehir at ONE Friday Fights 58. If he can knock off Vienot to keep rolling, he will inch closer to a title shot of his own. Regardless of the outcome, this could be the night’s biggest firefight.

ONE Friday Fights 68 airs live on Friday, June 28, from Bangkok, Thailand. The action begins at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT. The event is available via global pay-per-view on watch.onefc.com.
