Jake Paul vs Mike Perry Results

Looking once again to make a dent amongst the bigger hitters of combat sports, YouTube personality turned professional boxer, Jake Paul (9-1), returns to the ring on Saturday night in a matchup against the entertaining and outrageous UFC veteran, Mike Perry (0-1 in pro boxing, 5-0 in BKFC).

Main Event

The hastily thrown together matchup (in the wake of Mike Tyson’s withdrawal), is being contested at Cruiserweight for eight rounds of bruising action. This will be Perry’s first outing at such a heavy fight-weight, as his career trajectory has effectively played out at Welterweight (170 pounds), along with a recent stint at light heavyweight (185) during his bare-knuckle run. So, there will undoubtedly be questions asked about Perry’s knockout power and cardio in such an unfamiliar weight-class for the platinum pugilist.

The speculation is certainly not exclusive to the blue corner, as the circus of scepticism surrounding the controversial Jake Paul once again rears its head, as Paul faces his eighth opponent without a boxing background in his fledgling 10 fight career.

The headline bout between these controversial superstars will be airing live on the DAZN network at 12AM ET.

Co-Main Event

The Co-Main event sees a return to the mainstage for the seven-division world champion, Amanda Serrano as she seeks to extend her winning streak to five against the highly touted, highly dangerous, Stevie Morgan.

Despite the noticeable disparity in professional experience and championship hardware, this fight holds the potential to steal the night, with Morgan coming into the contest with Thirteen of her fourteen big wins coming by way of knockout. In contrast the far more accomplished Serrano has crafted her most recent win streak out of unanimous decisions, so this clash of approaches will certainly make for compelling viewing despite the potent disappointment surrounding the cancellation of Serrano’s highly anticipated rematch with the Irish phenom, Katie Taylor.

Undercard

Other fights to look out for include the pair of undefeated lightweight fighters, Ashton Sylve (9-0) vs Lucas Bahdi (16-0). Another MMA pro, Uriah Hall (1-0) in his fight against Julio Caesar Chavez Junior (53-6-1). Tony Aguilar (12-0-1) vs Corey Marksman (9-0-1). Shadasia Green (13-1) vs Natasha Spence (8-4-2). Angel Barrientes (11-1) vs Edwin Rodriguez (12-8-2). Ariel Perez (3-0) vs Dane Guerrero (0-0-1). Alexis Chaparro (1-0) vs Kevin Hill (1-1).
