Midseason in Contender Series is upon us. Just like that’s it’s week five of the eighth season of the show. By the time Dana White hands out UFC contracts tonight, 49 of the scheduled fights will have happened.
Live coverage begins tonight at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN+ inside the United States. Due to a late change during the event, four MMA fights will be held inside the famed Octagon at the UFC Apex on this second Tuesday evening of September.

Main Event
At the top of the bill tonight is a contest at light heavyweight. Unbeaten Navajo Stirling (4-0 MMA) takes on Phillip Latu (6-1 MMA). This is a three-round fight at five minutes per round.
Co-Main Event
Immediately beforehand, a middleweight contest versing Yousri Belgaroui (7-3 MMA) against Taiga Iwasaki (9-1 MMA) will take place.

Also on tonight’s itinerary, you’ll see a bantamweight fight pairing Otari Tanzilovi (9-0 MMA) with Josias Musasa (7-2 MMA), and a women’s flyweight fight between Corinne Laframboise (8-4 MMA) and Nicolle Caliari (7-1 MMA.)

Kody Steele vs. Quemuel Ottoni- cancelled due to Ottoni withdrawing from the event. Steele paid show and win money and rebooked for a later episode.
