ONE Championship will return to Qatar in 2025, per a press release from the company. On Thursday, February 20, ONE 171: Qatar will emanate from the Lusail Sports Arena. It will be another star-studded event with multiple titles promised to be on the line.
“After a successful event in Qatar last March, ONE Championship will return to Lusail Sports Arena in early 2025 for another showcase of the world’s best martial arts talent. We’re putting together another explosive card that fans will not want to miss, featuring our elite World Champion athletes across all of our martial arts disciplines. We can’t wait to ignite Qatar with hope, strength, dreams, and inspiration once again. I would like to personally thank Visit Qatar and Media City Qatar for giving us another opportunity to make history,” ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said in the press release.

ONE first arrived in Qatar with ONE 166 this past March. On that night, three title tilts headlined the card, and Anatoly Malykhin made history as the first-ever simultaneous three-division World Champion in the main event. More exciting action is guaranteed for the company’s return.
No matches have been revealed yet. However, the event should continue ONE’s extraordinary commitment to martial arts with matches across kickboxing, MMA, Muay Thai, and submission grappling.
