ONE Fight Night 27 Results: Electrifying Night of Knockouts

ONE Championship is back tonight with ONE Fight Night 27 on the eve of UFC Vegas 101. This first fight night of 2025 features a nine-fight card across the combative disciplines, ranging from MMA, Muay Thai, to submission-only grappling.

Inside the United States, ONE Fight Night 27 is streamed on Amazon Prime Video tonight at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT inside North America. It’s a big weekend for Prime, who will stream Saturday’s AFC Wild Card Playoff between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.

Stakes Changed For ONE Fight Night 27 Main Event

While the main event of the evening for tonight’s show remains a contest between Tang Kai (19-3 MMA, 8-0 ONE Championship) and unbeaten Akbar Abdullaev (11-0 MMA, 3-0 ONE Championship), the ONE Featherweight (155 lbs) MMA World Championship) is no longer at stake. At yesterday’s weigh-ins and hydration tests, Abdullaev didn’t make the 155-lb maximum for title fights.

As such, the ONE Fight Night 27 main event is now a contracted catchweight at 156 3/4 lbs. Its five-round maximum remains intact.

Catchweight Muay Thai Affair in Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of the evening shifts to Muay Thai for a catchweight bout (150 3/4 lbs) between John Lineker (2-0 Muay Thai, 2-0 ONE Championship) and Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.  This is a three-round affair at three minutes per round.

Interim Atomweight Championship at Stake in ONE Fight Night 27

Earlier in the evening, the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight (115 lbs) Championship is up for grabs when Denice Zamboanga (11-2 MMA, 6-2 ONE Championship) battles Alyona Rassohyna (13-5 MMA, 1-1 ONE Championship.) It’s a five-round contest at five minutes per round.
