UFC Vegas 101 Results: 2025 Slate Opens in Apex With Highlight Reel Knockouts

UFC Vegas 101 is here! Later today, the UFC’s 2025 schedule begins at the UFC Apex with the first card of the new year from MMA‘s top promotion. Live coverage of this afternoon/evening’s event begins at 4 pm ET/ 1 pm PT on ESPN+ inside the United States with the prelims.

Main card action follows at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT on the Disney-owned streaming platform. All told, UFC Vegas 101 features a full 14-fight slate from Enterprise, NV inside the Apex.

UFC Vegas 101 Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight is a women’s strawweight affair matching No. 6 contender Mackenzie Dern (14-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) with No. 8 contender Amanda Ribas (13-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC.) This UFC Vegas 101 main event is an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round to close the show.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of the evening takes place in the welterweight division when Santiago Ponzinibbio (29-8 MMA, 11-7 UFC) battles Carlston Harris (19-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC.) This is a three-round affair at five minutes per round.

Also on the UFC Vegas 101 main card tonight, you’ll see a middleweight contest matching Cesar Almeida (6-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) with Abdul Razak Alhassan (12-6 MMA, 6-6 UFC), a middleweight bout versing Chris Curtis (31-11  1 NC MMA, 5-3, 1 NC UFC) and Roman Kopylov (13-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC), a featherweight fight between Austin Bashi (13-0 MMA, UFC debut) and Christian Rodriguez (11-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC), and a welterweight affair pitting Punahele Soriano (10-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) against Uros Medic (10-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC).
