UFC 311 is upon us. Looking to cement his status as the greatest UFC lightweight fighter of all time with a fourth consecutive title defense, Islam Makhachev faces extremely late replacement Renato Moicano following Arman Tsarukyan’s removal from the card due to injury. Having bested Alexander Volkanovski twice and Dustin Poirier over the course of his reign, Makhachev comfortably occupies the top spot on the UFC pound-for-pound rankings.
Late Change to UFC 311 Main Event
Originally scheduled to take on Beneil Dariush earlier on the UFC 311 main card, the fan-favorite Moicano now has the opportunity to capture UFC gold off the back of an exciting four-fight win streak.

UFC 311 Co-Main Event
In the co-main event of UFC 311 on Saturday night, Merab Dvalishvili will make the first defense of his newly-acquired bantamweight strap opposite the undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov. Following a monster 10-fight win streak, Dvalishvili captured the 135-lb crown from Sean O’Malley in what was considered by most to have been a blowout performance at UFC 306.
In the Middle East this past summer, the seemingly unstoppable Nurmagomedov earned the biggest win of career over two-time UFC title challenger Cory Sandhagen.
