Leonard Garcia vs. Cody McKenzie on tap for UFC 155

Leonard Garcia and Cody McKenzie will go toe-to-toe in a featherweight showdown at UFC 155 in December.

UFC officials announced the bout on Saturday.

Garcia (15-9-1) is coming off of three straight losses, his most recent at the hands of Matt Grice at UFC on FX 3 back in June. Most fighters that lose three in a row usually get their pink slip, however Garcia always puts on a show. His last victory was a controversial decision victory over Nam Phan back in December 2010.

McKenzie (13-3) started off his career with a 12 fight winning streak, unfortunately he’s dropped three of his last four. In his featherweight debut, he lost to former number one contender Chad Mendes by KO at UFC 148 back in July.

UFC 155 is set to take place on December 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Headlining the card will be a heavyweight championship fight between champ Junior dos Santos and number one contender Cain Velasquez.
