UFC Seattle Results: First Washington State Card in 12 Years

UFC Seattle is here. Tonight, Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA plays host to the final UFC Fight Night in the month of February. Action from the No. 1 promotion in the sport of MMA begins at 6 pm ET/ 3 pm PT with the prelims on ESPN+. Main card action caps the night at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT on the same platform in addition to Disney Plus.

All told, after a successful weigh-in yesterday, tonight’s show features 12 fights.


UFC Seattle Main Event

At the top of the bill this Saturday evening is a battle at bantamweight. No. 7 contender Henry Cejudo (16-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) meets up with No. 8 contender Song Yadong (21-8-1 MMA, 10-3-1 UFC.) The UFC Seattle main event is an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round to close the show.

UFC Seattle Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of the evening shifts to the middleweight ranks as No. 9 contender Brendan Allen (24-6 MMA, 13-8 UFC) battles No. 12 contender Anthony Hernandez (13-2, 1 NC MMA, 7-2 UFC.) This is a three-round affair at five minutes per round.

Also on the UFC Seattle main card tonight, you’ll be seeing a contracted catchweight at 140 lbs between No. 9 bantamweight contender Rob Font (21-8 MMA, 11-7 UFC) and Jean Matsumoto (15-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), a featherweight contest matching Jean Silva (14-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) with Melsik Baghdasaryan (8-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), and a light heavyweight affair versing No. 15 contender Alonzo Menifield (15-5-1 MMA, 8-5-1 UFC) and Julius Walker (6-0 MMA, UFC promotional debut.)
