It begins with the quarterfinal phase of the tournament at welterweight and featherweight. As is the norm, PFL 1 will be seen gavel-to-gavel on ESPN+ inside the United States and on ESPN2 if you’re watching on linear television.

Live coverage of the event will begin at a later time this week, 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN+. Wednesday morning, the official weigh-ins for Thursday evening’s card took place in Orlando.

Magomed Umalatov Bounced From Welterweight Bracket at PFL 1 Weigh-Ins

Initially, the card was to kick off at 7 pm ET and feature 10 fights of quarterfinal and tournament alternate action. As of Wednesday’s official weigh-ins, however, this is no longer the case, with the number of bouts down to eight. The featherweight quarterfinals were to have featured a contest between Magomed Umalatov (17-1 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025) and Logan Storley (16-3 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025.)

Umalatov exceeded the welterweight nontitle maximum today by clocking in at 173.6 lbs. As such, the contest has been canceled from the card. Storley, who tipped the scales at 171 lbs, will now square off against tournament alternate Joseph Luciano (10-2 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025), who weighed-in at 170.4 lbs.

Luciano was supposed to have faced off against Sarek Shields (6-2 MMA, 0-0 PFL 2025), who has been removed from the show in light of the card reshuffling.
