UFC 318: Fond Farewell from Veteran in Anticipated Main Event Tonight

UFC 318 is here! Tonight, Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA serves as the host venue for the middle event of July from MMA’s No. 1 promotion. If you’re looking in from the United States, the early prelims of UFC 318 begin at 6 pm ET/ 3 pm PT and can be seen via ESPN2 and ESPN+, in addition to UFC Fight Pass.

Late prelims follow at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN via linear television as well as ESPN+, before the five-fight main card caps off the evening at 10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT on pay-per-view. After a successful weigh-in window yesterday morning, all 14 fights on tonight’s schedule will go ahead as planned this Saturday night at UFC 318.

At the top of the bill tonight, MMA fans the world over say goodbye to one of the sport’s all-time greats. The symbolic BMF Championship is at stake in the main event. Current BMF Champion and No. 5 lightweight contender Max Holloway (25-8 MMA, 22-8 UFC) puts his title at risk against the retiring No. 6 contender Dustin Poirier (30-9, 1 NC MMA, 22-8, 1 NC MMA.)

This anticipated farewell appearance is an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round to close the show.

UFC 318 Co-Main Event: No. 13 Contender Paulo Costa vs. No. 14 Contender Roman Kopylov

Immediately beforehand, the UFC 318 co-main event happens at middleweight. No. 13 contender Paulo Costa (14-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) meets No. 14 contender Roman Kopylov (14-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC.) This is a three-round affair at five minutes per round.
