UFC on ABC 9 is here! Today (United States time,) Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi serves as the focus of the second UFC Fight Night to air on ABC this summer. Live coverage of today’s show begins with the prelims at 12 noon ET/ 9 am PT.
Inside the United States of America, the card will be seen gavel-to-gavel on ESPN+. The prelims will be seen on linear television via ESPN.
Main card action follows at 3 pm ET/ noon PT on your local ABC affiliate in addition to ESPN+. After a successful weigh-in window yesterday morning, all 12 fights on today’s schedule are confirmed to be going ahead.

UFC on ABC 9 Main Event: No. 5 Contender Robert Whittaker vs. No. 13 Contender Reinier de Ridder
At the top of the bill later on this afternoon in the UFC on ABC 9 main event, the middleweights take to the fabled Octagon. No. 5 contender Robert Whittaker (26-8 MMA, 17-6 MMA) makes the walk against No. 13 contender and former ONE Championship mainstay Reinier de Ridder (20-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC.)
This is a five-round fight at five minutes per round to close out the day’s action.
UFC on ABC 9 Co-Main Event: No. 3 Contender Petr Yan vs. No. 12 Contender Marcus McGhee
Immediately prior to the main attraction, the co-main event of the evening happens at bantamweight when No. 3 contender Petr Yan (18-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) squares off with No. 12 contender Marcus McGhee (10-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC.) It’ll be a three-round affair at five minutes apiece.
