Black Larry Shatters Records and Zac Moore Dominates in Wild Friday Night Fights at PLN Studios

Friday Night Fights brought electrifying CarJitsu Championship action to PLN Studios in Branson, Missouri for Week 7, delivering historic moments, tactical surprises, and a series of jaw-dropping submissions. With the audience charged and the PLN YouTube chat buzzing, fans witnessed both record-breaking speed and showman-level drama.

History Made in the PLN Featured Bout

Kameron “Black Larry” Harris stormed the car door in spectacular fashion in the PLN featured bout, facing off against the ever-entertaining slap fighting star, Shamokin Thunderclap. With barely time to buckle up, Black Larry launched a rapid assault and slapped on a textbook can opener submission just eight seconds into the first round, crushing the record for fastest submission in CarJitsu Championship history. Shamokin Thunderclap nearly succumbed to a shoulder injury but refused to quit, showing his grit and resilience as the Branson crowd roared their appreciation.

The second round promised more of the same as Black Larry didn’t let up, dominating with positional awareness and pressure. In just 30 seconds, he locked in a forearm choke, drawing the tap and solidifying his status as a CarJitsu force to be reckoned with. Post-fight, Black Larry wasted no time and issued a brash challenge to “Groundshark” CJay Hunter, setting up a grudge match with a personal edge after the pair’s clash in Ultimate Tire Wrestling, where Groundshark got the better of Black Larry.

PLN Co-Main Event: Mind Games, Laughter, and Drama

The co-main event on last Friday’s PLN show between Cole “Electi-Cole” Owens and CJay “Groundshark” Hunter was as unpredictable as it was tactical. Owens started with a shock, unbuckling, flinging open the front door, and climbing into the backseat, sending Groundshark scrambling to reset. Amid the confusion, the competitors hit pause… and entertained the crowd with a brief game of rock-paper-scissors, providing a much-needed comedic interlude.

Once the action resumed, Groundshark quickly took control in the backseat, hunting for dominant position, but Owens used cagey veteran moves, sneaking his foot out the door, forcing a reset to avoid a bad spot. The first round went the distance with wild scrambles but no submissions. In round two, both fighters upped the intensity with creative transitions. Groundshark appeared seconds away from a d’arce choke, but a quick-thinking foot placement by Owens triggered another restart, foiling the attempt. Ultimately, Groundshark adapted, taking Owens’ back and sinking in a decisive rear-naked choke. The crowd erupted as Owens was forced to tap, handing Groundshark a high-profile victory.

PLN Main Event: Veteran Grit and a Thunderous Finish

The main event had all the hype, and it delivered. CarJitsu Championship stalwarts Steven Minski and Zac Moore squared off in a contest brimming with tension. From the outset, Moore pressed his advantage, quickly shifting to top position. Wasting no time, he laced a seatbelt grip around Minski’s carotid artery, cutting off the blood flow, a textbook submission maneuver. In a shocking development, Minski lost consciousness, forcing an immediate stoppage just 33 seconds into Round 1. Zac Moore emerged victorious with a TKO win, holding onto his championship belt and sending a clear message to all future challengers.

With show-stealing submissions, laugh-out-loud antics, and champions cementing their legacies, Week 7 of Friday Night Fights at PLN Studios underscored everything fans love about CarJitsu: adrenaline, unpredictability, and pure competitive spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned fan or a first-time viewer, this week set the bar, and hinted there’s plenty more madness yet to come.

Tune-in to Friday Night Fights each week on Pro League Network’s YouTube at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT and stay tuned to PLN’s social channels for the heart-stopping, adrenaline-pumping action.
