California Flyweight Champ Signs To UFC; To Make Debut Aug. 22

It looks as if another champion from Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat champion has made his way to the UFC.  According to MMA manager Shu Hirata, Terrance Saeteurn, the A1 Combat Flyweight Champion will fill in on two weeks’ notice to take on Hirata’s client, Nyamjargal Tumendemberel, on Aug. 22 for Road To UFC: Shanghai.

Terrance Saeteurn Becomes Second A1 Combat Flyweight Champ Called Up

Terrance Saeteurn will join Joseph “Bopo” Morales as former A1 Combat Flyweight Champions to make their way into the UFC, with bantamweight Payton Talbott and middleweight Ryan Loder also holding the belts in their respective weight classes.  Saeteurn will be taking the place of Rei Tsuruya, who withdrew from the bout due to an undisclosed injury.

Terrance Saeteurn Proves Dominant in May Fight

Terrance Saeteurn is coming off arguably his most complete showing so far in his professional career, having most recently defeated newly crowned Cage Titans Flyweight Champion Isaiah Torres by unanimous decision at A1 Combat 27 in May of this year.  Utilizing a combination of strong pressure on the feet and wrestling, “Wrong Turn” was able to turn the judges cards in his favor with a 30-27 unanimous decision.

Terrance Saeteurn With Long-Awaited Appearance Aug. 22

Originally from Fairfield, CA, Terrance Saeteurn will be making history in many different ways against Tumendemberel, with his debut making him not only the first Mien fighter to fight in the UFC, but a win making him the first fighter to earn a victory for his culture inside the octagon.
