From the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, FL the PFL brings the action once again in PFL Hollywood with a trio of championship contests in the middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight classes. Taking the top spot on PFL Hollywood, the streaking Fabian Edwards locks horns with fan-favorite competitor Dalton Rosta for the middleweight title. In the second to last bout of the night, UFC veteran Alexandr Romanov tussles with Russian competitor Oleg Popov.
PFL Hollywood Main Event
Losing in his organizational debut back in 2024 to Johnny Eblen, Edwards now stands as one of the top athletes in the PFL, logging two back-to-back wins over once light heavyweight standouts Impa Kasanganay and Josh Silveira. On the cusp of netting the first strap of his professional career, “The Assassin” is looking to exit the Sunshine State as the new dominant 185-lb gold standard by bringing down another highly-regarded contender in the PFL Hollywood main event.
Living up to his nickname, “Hercules,” Rosta has decimated the competition over the past several years, defeating the likes of Sadibou Sy and Aaron Jeffery, avenging a previous loss to the latter from 2023. Now just within striking distance of the gates of Mt. Olympus, the American Top Team product will need to bring all his skills to bear as he aims to add world champion to his resume in PFL Hollywood.
PFL Hollywood Co-Main Event
Since making his exit from the UFC in 2024, Romanov has risen to become one of the premier 265-lb athletes in the PFL, scoring a first round submission triumph over Timothy Johnson this past May. Although a no-contest in his last bout with Valentin Moldavsky propelled him into the finals during PFL Hollywood, “King Kong” is determined to leave no doubt that he is the best heavyweight in the organization.
Riding a two-bout win streak with a pair of wins over UFC alum Karl Williams and Rodrigo Nascimento, Popov finds himself in the championship finale after losing last year to Denis Goltsov. On the hunt for his first PFL strap, the Fedor Team product will look to conquer yet another UFC standout in the streaking Romanov.
