MMASucka Staff Picks: DWCS 82 Full Betting Predictions and Odds

The Contender Series rolls on with DWCS 82’s main event, as Spain’s Hecher Sosa comes to blows with Brazilian prospect Mackson Lee. In the second to last fight of the evening at DWCS 82, the light heavyweights shake things up, with the undefeated Iwo Baraniewski and Mahamed Aly duking it out for a UFC contract and to retain their coveted zeros.

DWCS 82 Main Event

Unbeaten since 2022, Sosa boasts a very active schedule as a competitor going into DWCS 82, fighting ten times over the past three years alone. He also has put together quite the finish streak, stopping his last five opponents, with four of those wins coming by way of knockout.

Standing at a perfect 9-0 record as a mixed martial artist, Lee has established himself as a promising young name on the stacked Brazilian regional scene. Looking to prove his skillset can transition to the highest level of the sport, the 26-year old is taking aim at a sensational performance to catapult himself into the UFC after DWCS 82.

The UFC Apex will play host to DWCS 81 Tuesday night.

DWCS 82 Co-Main Event

Following a near 20-bout run as an amateur, Baraniewski made the transition to the professional leagues in 2023. Since then, the Pole has succeeded in waves, racking up an unblemished resume of five straight victories in a row, competing mostly in the Polish fight company Babilon MMA ahead of DWCS 82.

While having only fought in just four contests up to DWCS 82, Aly has already racked up a sizable amount of combat sports experience as an accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grappler, even holding a tremendous win over UFC BJJ star Mikey Musumeci. A true threat to anyone who goes to the ground with him, the Brazilian athlete can prove to make life hell for his adversary should he manage to take them down.

More Bouts On the Card

Rounding out the card, undefeated lightweights Tommy Gantt and Adam Livingston lock horns. Then, it’s South Korea versus Ireland, as In Soo Hwang battles Ultimate Fighter alumni Paddy McCorry. Finally, Cody Chovancek puts his zero on the line when he meets Raphael Uchegbu.

DWCS 82 Predictions and Staff Picks

MMASucka staff picks are composed of four of the world’s leading mixed martial arts organizations: the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the Professional Fighters League (PFL), ONE Championship (ONE FC), and Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS).
