DWCS 85, the penultimate episode of the ninth season on Dana White’s Contender Series, is here. Tonight, week nine of the 10-week DWCS schedule takes place inside the slimmed-down Octagon at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, NV.
Live coverage of tonight’s card at the Apex begins at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. Stateside, you can watch the excitement of DWCS 85 via ESPN+, while UFC Fight Pass carries the event internationally.
After another successful weigh-in window yesterday morning at the hotel, all five fights for DWCS 85 will take place as scheduled. 10 more MMA prospects get a shot at impressing UFC CEO Dana White for a contract tonight.
DWCS 85 Main Event
At the top of the bill tonight is a lightweight affair matching Lucas Caldas (6-1 MMA) with undefeated Magomed Zaynukov (7-0 MMA.) All fights on the show tonight are an advertised maximum of three rounds at five minutes per round.
DWCS 85 Co-Main Event
Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of the evening takes place in the bantamweight division as Adrian Luna Martinetti (16-1 MMA) meets Mark Vologdin (12-3-1 MMA.)
