Your co-main event will be another cracking affair, this one in the welterweight division. No. 2 contender Belal Muhammad (171 lbs) battles No. 6 contender Ian Machado Garry (170 lbs.) It’ll be a three-round fight at five minutes apiece.

Short-Notice No Problem for UFC Qatar’s Waldo Cortes-Acosta

Also on Saturday night’s main card is a late change in the heavyweight division. No. 6 contender Waldo Cortes-Acosta (265 lbs) took an 18-hour flight to Qatar for the event and made championship weight for his contest versus No. 7 contender Shamil Gaziev (262 lbs.)

This is Cortes-Acosta’s fifth fight of the year. Three weeks ago, he secured a stunning knockout finish over Ante Delija at the UFC Apex inside the opening round.
