Alex Pereira Shuts Down White House Appearance

Alex Pereira has arguably been the biggest company man since entering the UFC in 2021. In a little over four years, he’s competed 12 times, across two weight divisions, notching two belts, headlined eight PPVs, including the historic UFC 300.

There’s no denying he’s a fan favourite, a reliable, entertaining megastar and even when he was defeated by Magomed Ankalaev, he rebounded with a stunning performance, winning his belt back in just 1:20.

After that victory, many expected him to take some time off and feature on the biggest card in MMA history, the scheduled White House Card in June 2026. Who would he face? There isn’t a fellow megastar at 205lbs, but there were murmurs about him moving up to heavyweight to try and win a third belt in a third division.

Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones’ names were thrown into the hat, however, his recent post appears to have shut down any potential of seeing the Brazilian walk out on the President’s lawn come June.

As of yet, no fights have been announced for the megacard; however, it won’t be long until we get the first rumours swirling.
