UFC Apex, Las Vegas

The UFC Apex in Las Vegas is a purpose-built facility owned by the promotion, designed for small-venue events, broadcast production, and content creation. Located near the UFC Performance Institute, the Apex became central to the company’s operations during the pandemic, allowing the promotion to continue staging events with limited or no fans. The intimate environment, with only a few hundred spectators when open, has given many cards a “gym fight” feel that emphasizes technical detail over spectacle.

Since 2020, the Apex has hosted dozens of UFC Fight Night cards and Dana White’s Contender Series events, effectively functioning as the promotion’s in-house arena. High-profile headliners, from heavyweight clashes to top-10 contenders, have competed in the compact octagon there, influencing strategies and performance due to the limited space. While the building lacks the grandeur of major arenas, its production capabilities and cost-efficiency make it a key asset in the UFC’s weekly schedule.
