UK MMA fighters are no longer a rare breed. In the early days, it was rare to see fighters from the UK featuring on MMA cards, let alone UFC cards, the creme de la creme of of all of MMA.
It wasn’t until Ian Freeman knocked down the door and made his debut at UFC 24 that someone from the UK fought in the UFC. It took even longer for anyone from the UK to become a UFC champion and Michael Bisping is that man at UFC 199 in 2016.

When betting on UK MMA fighters, it’s always wise to be cautious and there are plenty of non GamStop casino options for cautious players out there.
Let’s take a look at the top 10 pound for pound UK MMA fighters right now.
UK MMA Fighters – Pound for Pound Rankings
1 – Tom Aspinall
Tom Aspinall sits atop the UFCs heavyweight division and, despite a disappointing last outing, there’s no doubting his ability. With 15 wins and 15 finishes, Aspinall is a force to be reckoned with. He’s about as well-rounded as it gets with brutal power, blistering speed and an unknown but well-respected ground game.
2 – Dakota Ditcheva
Dakota Ditcheva could very well top this list in a few years. She’s undefeated at 15-0 and has barely lost a round throughout her career. Ditcheva’s dominant 2024 saw her finish four straight opponents and capture the PFL women’s flyweight title. Injuries have stunted her career, however, at just 27, she’s still got a long time left in the game. Expect her to debut in the UFC soon and prove to the world how good she is.

3 – Paddy Pimblett
Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett could kick 2026 off in a huge way with an interim title win at UFC 324. The Liverpudlian is undefeated in the UFC with seven straight victories. The impressive aspect is that he continues to improve each and every time he makes the walk to the octagon. His most recent outing against Michael Chandler saw him secure a third-round finish and in turn, gain an interim title shot.
4 – Arnold Allen
Arnold Allen has shown to the masses that he’s a force at featherweight. The Brit began his UFC career with a 10 fight winning run before tasting defeat. He has only lost to the elite at 145lbs, with losses to Max Holloway and Movsar Evloev. When Allen puts it all together, there’s an argument that he’s the most well rounded fighter at the weight and he’ll once again look to prove that at UFC 324 against Jean Silva.
5 – Michael Venom Page
Michael Page is one of the UK MMA fighters who has proven that he can do it both in Bellator and the UFC. A veteran of 27 professional fights, MVP went 17-2 in Bellator before making the switch over to the UFC and, although he’s floated between weight classes, he seems to have found a home at middleweight. Picking up wins over Sharabutdin Magomedov and Jared Cannonier, MVP has set himself up for a big 2026.
6 – Leon Edwards
Despite losing three straight, we have to remember just how good Leon Edwards is. He’s only lost to the elite of the division in Belal Muhammad, Sean Brady and Carlos Prates. His title win in 2022 is legendary, and as the second-ever UK MMA fighter to win a belt, he has to be respected. He’s still got the skills to mix it with the best at the top level, despite being on a losing skid.
7 – Lerone Murphy
Similar to a number of people on this list of the best UK MMA fighters, Lerone Murphy is undefeated. He’s 17-0-1, notching eight knockouts, none more emphatic than his last. Taking on Aaron Pico, there was huge pressure on Murphy, who hadn’t finished a fight since 2021. The Mancunian’s spinning elbow knockout won our 2025 knockout of the year.
With blistering speed, Murphy is a problem to anyone at featherweight and it’s only a matter of time until he gets his shot at gold.
8 – Alfie Davis
Hailing from London, England, PFL’s 2025 lightweight tournament champion, Alfie Davis is an inclusion on this list who would have been nowhere near this list in 2024. After getting finished by Mansour Barnaoui to close out his 2024, Davis was a huge underdog heading into this year’s tournament. Beating the veteran Clay Collard, former champion, Brent Primus and as a +705 underdog, beating Gadzhi Rabadanov, Davis had a phenomenal year and is deserving of a place on this list.
9 – Nathaniel Wood
The Last Kingsman, Nathaniel Wood, has found amazing form at featherweight since moving up in weight in 2022. He’s gone 6-1 at 145lbs and has some of the most crisp all-around MMA skills in the game. He’s massively unappreciated and, without a doubt, deserves to headline a fight night in the UK before he sees his career out.

10 – Casey O’Neill
Scotland’s Casey O’Neill is the forgotten woman at flyweight. After a strong start to her UFC career, back to back losses lead to doubts over her ability. With that being said, she returned in a dominant fashion against Luana Santos. Although she’s been out for over a year with injury, at just 28, she could still make a run at the title. Getting back to full fitness is a priority, however.
