KSW 114 – Two Stars Shine with UFC Circling

KSW 114 is now one for the books with the Polish promotion kicking off 2026 in a big way. From the Radomskie Centrum Sportu Arena, we got a nine-fight card in which two fighters stood out above the rest, leading to questions as to whether they are destined for bigger things, namely, the UFC.

Parnasse to the UFC – Get it done

In the main event of KSW 114, Salahdine Parnasse met Bellator and UFC veteran, Marcin Held, with the lightweight gold on the line. Heading into the bout, the challenger, Held, was enjoying a three fight undefated streak, as was the French champion. The fight was re-booked after the two were scheduled in May 2025, however, that one was cancelled after Held had to withdraw.

The bookmakers were correct in this one as Parnasse finished Held in the second round to retain his lightweight title, remain undefeated at the weight and have the eyes of the MMA world placed firmly upon him.

With an impressive record of 22-2, with his only losses coming at featherweight and welterweight, the Frenchman is an asset that the UFC need to sign quickly. Across his 22 wins, Parnasse holds seven KO/TKOs and seven submissions, showing just how well-rounded he is. At 28 years old, he’s a two-weight world champion (at featherweight and lightweight). It’s time the UFC signed him, put him on September’s annual Paris card and brought Parnasse to the big leagues.

Inspired by Joanna, Forging Her Own Path

The other standout performer at KSW 114 was Wiktoria Czyzewska. At just 21 years old, the Polish star progressed to 7-1 and extended her winning run to five straight. After going 2-0 in 2025 and going the distance on both occasions, The Queen of Radom was back to winning ways at KSW 114.

Taking on four-fight UFC vet, Tamires Vidal, Czyzewska battered her Brazilian opponent to a first-round stoppage. Coming via a sickening body kick, Czyzewska folded her opponent and grabbed headlines.

Competing at both flyweight and bantamweight, Czyzewska has ambitions to be a huge star and her finishing ability, infectious personality and drive, could lead her there.

The UFC has to call. In the flyweight top 15, there is just one European star and at bantamweight, there are two. It’s time to sign a new one.
