The first UFC card of the year is finally upon us with UFC 324 going down tomorrow from Las Vegas. As always, it’s a Friday weighin and we have your UFC 324 weigh in results!

The Main event sees the interim lightweight title on the line as veteran Justin Gaethje meets the up and coming, Paddy Pimblett. The fight will be watched very carefully by the undisputed champion, Ilia Topuria, who will be matched with the winner later in the year.

The co-main will see former bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley meet Song Yadong in a crucial bantamweight clash. Heavy-hitters Derrick Lewis and Waldo Cortes-Acosta will throw down in a fight that will likely not need the judges.

Rose Namajunas and Natalia Silva meet in a fun flyweight match-up, which could determine the next contender for Valentina Shevchenko’s flyweight strap.

Opening up the main card is an exciting featherweight clash between the returning Arnold Allen and fan favourite, Jean Silva.

UFC 324 Weigh In News

There was three big talking points coming out of the UFC 324 weigh ins.

Most notably, Ricky Turcios vs Cameron Smotherman has been cancelled. Although both men made weight, Smotherman feinted on stage, faceplanting and leading to his fight being cancelled.

In other news, former flyweight, Deiveson Figueiredo, missed weight by 2.5lbs. His bout with Umar Nurmagomedov will go ahead with the Brazilian being given a 25 percent fine.

Likewise, Alex Perez missed the flyweight limit, coming in at 128.5lbs. This marks the third time Perez has missed weight and adds to an unprofessional career endured by Perez thusfar.
