Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine salaries – Josh Barnett tops the list bringing home $250K

Earlier today the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission released the final salaries for the fighters that took part in this past Saturday nights Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine event.

The big winner on Saturday night was veteran fighter Josh Barnett who brought home a cool $250,000 for his dominating performance against Nandor Guelmino. Coming in just behind him was Gegard Mousasi who defeated Mike Kyle and made $175,000 for his submission victory.

These numbers are the salaries that the organization has to give to the State Commissions. They do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and other fees. They also do not include “fight night” bonuses, sponsor pay or any other bonuses that the UFC often give their fighters.
