Fight Music: UFC lightweight contender TJ Grant

TJGrant

TJ Grant is one of the fiercest competitors in the UFC’s lightweight division. Since making the drop to the 155 pound weight class, the Nova Scotia native has gone on an impressive 4-0 run with victories over Shane Roller, Carlo Prater, Evan Dunham and ,most recently, Matt Wiman.

Wonder what gets Grant pumped up and in the fighting spirit? Well, you might be surprised.

“My walkout song is “Here I Go Again” by White Snake, I like that one. The first time I ever heard it, I remember Mickey Ward walking out to it against Arturo Gatti and I thought that was a cool ass song to walk out to. The UFC at times has been cutting the intro of it off, but I like that slow cheesy 80’s start out. It definitely gets me pumped up.”
