UFC 159 adds Jimy Hettes vs. Steven Siler

Another featherweight tilt has been added to the ever expanding UFC 159 fight card, as Jimy Hettes meets Steven Siler.

UFC officials announced the featherweight match-up on Monday.

Hettes (10-1) began his career on a 10-fight winning streak, however lost his first fight in his career at UFC 152 against Marcus Brimage. “The Kid” is 2-1 inside the Octagon with victories over Alex Caceres and Nam Phan.

Siler (21-10) is also coming into UFC 159 looking to get back into the win column, as he fell short at the hands of Darren Elkins at UFC 154. The Ultimate Fighter 14 participant went 3-0 inside the Octagon prior to his UFC 154 loss.

The Hettes vs. Siler bout is expected to be a part of the UFC 159 preliminary card.

UFC 159 is set for April 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The main event is for the UFC light heavyweight championship, as TUF 17 coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen go to war.
