Dan Henderson Wants To Unify Titles

Who would like to see a unification bout between the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion, Dan Henderson and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones (Well that’s if Jones beats Rampage)? Dan Henderson would and he spoke about that with MMAWeekly Radio this past Wednesday.

“I’m ready to fight, and I think I’m a valuable asset to make some money with also, and they know that. I’m not worried about what’s going to happen. I’d like to try and fight in December. Take another month off or so and get back to training. […] I think the biggest fight they could promote is probably a title unification with whoever is the champ in the UFC. I think for them to utilize the best potential to make money for everybody, I think they’d have to have Rashad wait it out one more fight.”

Henderson is currently a free agent. His last fight of his Strikeforce contract was against Fedor Emelianenko. He has been in MMA for over 14 years and holds a professional record of 28-8.

What are your thoughts? Would you like to see Hendo vs Jones to unify the titles? Or a possible rematch against Rampage? Comment below.
