Jacare Souza submits Chris Camozzi in UFC debut

The submission specialist Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza made his presence felt in the co-main event at UFC on FX 8 against Chris Camozzi.

The two tangled for a few minutes on the feet, but once it hit the mat it was all Jacare. It took the former Strikeforce middleweight champion just 3:37 to lock in an arm-triangle choke which ended Camozzi’s night.

Following the fight Jacare called out the winner of the main event between Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold.

Souza is 18-3 1NC and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. His last defeat was when he lost the middleweight title to Rockhold at a 2011 Strikeforce event.
