Donald Cerrone dominates KJ Noons en route to unanimous decision

The lightweight division kicked off the UFC 160 PPV portion of the card as “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone took on the always exciting KJ Noons.

The first round saw Cerrone and Noons take part in a brutal slugfest, trading blows with no Concern for things like “angles.” Cerrone, though, was more varied in his offense, and used a late takedown to seal the round.

The second round was more of the same, with Noons’ boxing coming up short against the diverse stand-up assault of “Cowboy.” While a lot of single shots were thrown, both men started to get into the swing of things with combinations, and just to keep “King Karl” on his toes, Cerrone threw in another takedown.

The final round saw Donald Cerrone really take over, with KJ Noons having little in the way of answers for his multi-pronged assault. Cerrone battered the former pro-boxer for the majority of the round en route to a unanimous decision victory.
