Jon Jones has decisions to make following doctor’s appointment

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones met with his podiatrist (foot doctor) on Wednesday to see how his toe was recovering and when he would be able to return.

Prior to his visit, Jones tweeted out that he was hoping for a quick return.

Following his doctor’s appointment he then sent a follow up tweet.

From the sounds of it, the champ has some decisions to make. When asked what those decisions were he responded with, “Jump into training camp in three weeks or Recover more.”

The fact that jumping into a training camp is even an option is a good thing for Jones. His toe is obviously almost fully healed and ready for sparring.

No word as to an opponent if he does step back in to training, but recently Alexander Gustafsson stated he was ready to face-off against Jones.
