Cub Swanson gets fifth win in a row; TKO’s Dennis Siver

A battle in the featherweight division kicked off the UFC 162 pay-per-view card.

Dennis Siver started off the fight with some great punches and kicks. Cub Swanson was unable to find his range in the first round and Siver landed a takedown which had him control the round.

In the second Swanson began to land a little more and was able to stuff all of Siver’s takedown attempts. By the time the third round came Swanson found his range and Siver lost a little steam. Midway through round 3 Swanson landed a couple big shots which dropped Siver. He landed a few unanswered blows and forced referee Herb Dean to call a stoppage to fight.
