Anderson Silva predicts loss prior to UFC 162 fight with Chris Weidman

At UFC 162 the world’s best mixed martial artist Anderson Silva was beaten by a younger up-and-comer in Chris Weidman to lose his middleweight championship.

Following the fight many fans and critics were calling the bout a “fix”. With Silva showing little to no offense and toying with Weidman with his hands at his waist was the sign of this.

UFC President Dana White said at the post-fight press conference, “Yeah, the fix is in, you (expletive) idiots.” However, prior to his main event bout, Silva spoke with “Showdown” Joe Ferraro from Sportsnet Canada about what his perfect fight would look like and one may think differently.

“Chris Weidman! Chris Weidman is the best in the world! Chris Weidman is the new champion of UFC!”

White has said that Silva likes to not only toy with his opponent but with the media as well. Unfortunately for Silva, this time it has caught him under a bit of hot water.

He finished off the interview with Ferraro by fuelling the fire even more.

“I’m tired bro. No rematch. I’m tired. I win, I win, I win. Go back for all the fights. Please.”
