MMA Junkie confirmed the fight with UFC officials earlier today.
Ali “Puncher” Bagautinov (11-2) made a statement in his debut, pounding Marcos Vinicius Borges Pancini into the canvas in the third round of their clash at UFC Fight Night 28. The well-rounded Russian has been undefeated since 2011, and is currently on a 4 fight finishing streak. Will he be able to make it 5 finishes in a row with a victory against Elliot?
Tim Elliot (10-3) is another flyweight on the rise, currently on a 2 fight winning streak. Another well-rounded fighter, Elliot has yet to finish a fight since entering the UFC. Will he be able to get that elusive finish at the expense of “Puncher”?
