Dong Hyun Kim stuns the Brazilian crowd with KO victory over Erick Silva
Kim was relentless early in round one, looking to apply his clinch and get his wrestling going. Silva, though, didn’t do much except for landing a couple of knees in the clinch. The South Korean did well up against the cage and when the fight hit the mat.
A back-and-forth affair in the second round was bound to see someone walk home with “Knockout of the Night” honors, and it was Kim who connected with a huge right that knocked Silva out cold. He slipped Silva’s shot and countered picture perfectly. Great finish.
