ONE FC 11: Khim Dhima finishes Catalan in the first stanza

Catalan started the fight really well, scoring two takedowns, He even had an Armbar attempt that looked close, but it was well defended byKhim Dima. As the round progressed, it was clear that Catalan had a distinct advantage on the canvas, as he secured another Armbar attempt which was, once again, defended well by his opponent.

Catalan certainly showcased some much improved takedown attack in the first round, as Dima struggled to mount an offense.

ONE FC 11: Khim Dhima finishes Catalan in the first stanza

Khim Dima started round 2 with a big kick that landed flush on Catalan’s chin. As the round progressed, Catalan landed his third takedown of the fight, once again, perhaps, overwhelming his opponent. The referee, though, stood both parties up with Catalan failing to land anything substantial on top. Catalan than went for another takedown, but Dima was anticipating it well, and with Catalan still holding onto his leg, he rained down a barrage of punches that forced the referee to make an intervention.

A good win for the Cambodian on his pro MMA debut.
