In the main event at UFC Fight for the Troops 3, middleweights Tim Kennedy and Rafael Natal stepped inside the Octagon to square off.
It took less than one round for one man to hit the canvas and the fight to be called. Kennedy was able to land a leaping left hook that dropped Natal and he followed up with some ground and pound to force referee Herb Dean to step in and call a stop to the fight.
Kennedy earned the victory in front of the troops, which was an honour for him, as he is with the National Guard’s 19th Special Forces Group.
